Do you bore people? I sure do, bore them senseless. I can talk ad nauseum about any topic, the less I understand it, the better. So come on, tell me your boron footprint. I was going to call this thread ‘What is your methane footprint?’ by the way. Yes, it’s mundane, mmmmm pointless too, it’s stuff as well, yep and I hafta share it.
TLDR.
Win.

I dun got pwn3d.
I have a very small boron footprint, because in my job I’m obliged to be interesting and keep people engaged, or else they tune out quickly, or get pissed off, or both. So I’ve learned to avoid boring people.
So, maybe I win.
I actually have a rather large boron footprint, literally. I’ve had two boron fishing rods snap in half on cold days and go plummeting into Lake Michigan, so when it comes to how much boron one puts into the environment I probably win.
I add half a cup of borax to each load of laundry.
Unlike fishing rods, 20 mule team borax is water soluble.
Professionally I have to be interesting. Non-professionally, I tend to be very boring by being professional.
I’ve put out about a teaspoon of ant killing boron this year.
<yawn> oh, did you say something?
I’m more boring in person than I am here. Sad, but true.
You see? I’ve got so much “boron” I kill threads.
Well, to make a short story long…
I am famous for useing 25 words where one will do. At work, I am often involved in explaining technical issues to customers, andNOTHING sets my heart singing than discussing the voltage charateristics of the famous and useful 2n2222 transistor.
One time I came into the staff coffee room, and one of the younger employees asked me how a feild effect transistor worked. The discussion eventually evolved into tunnel diodes, and wierd quantum effects of electrons.
I began to hear snickering as I cleared some useless safety junk off the whiteboard and used diagrams when discussing field effects of interacting electrons…
It had been a set up! There had been a bet/pool on how long I could go on after being asked a single question…
The winner came in at 14 minutes…
I laughed as much as the rest of them. Just wish I had been asked to join, as I could have told them that a filtered guassian distribution is often the best way to determine a pool pick based on unknown data…

I believe that boron is measured in assprint.
Wow, I wish I could contribute less to a thread about nothing.
Not like anyone will notice I am here.

…who was that who just posted?
Anyway,
If everyone had my assprint/boron footprint, we’d need 6 more Earths to make room for all the asses!
I hope you remembered to mention that Boron is the p-type dopant of choice for silicon integrated circuit production, since it diffuses at a rate which makes junction depths easily controllable.
You win Squink, you win…
I couldn’t have done it without Full Metal Lotus.
I have twice made a post about my day on the job (usually when something goes right) and was met with silence.
I am interesting and exciting, except here, where I am witless and forgettable. My boron footprint is rather small because of how easy it is to ignore or skip past my posts.
