I voted Other before I saw it was multiple choice, but my other choice would be Boston Market. A fast food place with creamed spinach and other veggies that aren’t salad! Yes!
But I also like Subway, Quizno’s and yes, Taco Bell. Oh, and Hardees has the best chicken tenders I’ve tried.
I loved it so much when I was a kid. I’m afraid I’d just be disappointed now. We used to buy a gallon of the root beer at every visit. I don’t suppose they sell it by the gallon anymore?
Ours doesn’t even do the frosty glass anymore, either. You get the same paper cup you get everywhere else.
While I love me some 5 Guys and Taco Bell, my all-time favorite remains Roy Rogers. The self-serve fixin’s bar won me over long ago and I stop there whenever the opportunity presents itself (there’s only a few left).
Every Roy Rogers I’ve ever been to (admittedly, those along the New York Thruway, so those might not be good examples) have been dirty, poorly run and with tired-looking food.
Something seems very wrong about this phrase.
