I’m not asking for scientific accuracy here (but if you can manage to provide that level of accuracy , cool). How much more are things costing you over the last year?
I figure my personal rate of inflation is about 25 - 33%. Many goods that I regularly use have gone up 60% or more. Thankfully electricity here has increased modestly, and my cellular bill hasn’t increased at all. I split my satellite internet with my sister. She actually pays the bill and hasn’t informed me as to whether internet service is going up. WildBlue’s website indicates the price for new service has gone up 12.5% —don’t know if this is increase affects existing customers.
Have you reached the point where price increases affect your behaviors? Yes, for me. I’m watching my food budget more, making less unnecesary trips. Any more of these huge price jumps and I’ll have to start cutting services —I’m looking at YOU, Netflix.
