The best answer I can give without a better picture is a lily. Possibly a daylily from the color and shape.

Can you add something for scale to the next picture? Knowing the size and seeing the leaves would be a big help.

It’s hard to tell with no sense of scale, but to me it looks like a trout lily, aka dog’s tooth violet.

The blue tiles under it are about 4 inches by 4 inches.

I think you got it with the Trout lily guess. The leaves in this image look just like the leaves I’ve seen in the wild.
