I have a Gibson Les Paul, Fender Strat, and an Art and Lutherie accoustic. Just don’t have enough time to play.
I have a Garrison G-25 which I love, and an old Samick acoustic beater which has been treated very poorly for the ten years I’ve had it and still plays fantastically well.
I have a Cort A4 bass which is great to play, but I’ve been GASing for a particular Godin bass which has a wonderful sound. I also have a crappy acoustic bass that I kind of regret buying but it was so cheap that theres no point in selling it.
I guess I’ve got a thing for Korean and Canadian gear. Korean stuff like Cort and Samick are great value at their price point in my opinion.
**lieu ** - don’t know how I missed this - at your service!
I have a 1980 Gibson J45. Sent it back to the factory a few years ago to have the neck reset and refretted. The sound is amazing - what a cannon!
I don’t have one anymore. I had a cheap Yamaha clasical in the '70s. I once drove from Kansas City Mo to Ann Arbore Mi in January to pick up a Segovia model Ramirez guitar with a boyfriend. He loved that guitar way more then he did me.
I almost bought a 00 Martin in the '70s for less than $100. but didn’t think I’d ever want two guitars. Silly me.
Acoustic: Gibson J-100, plus a roundneck Dobro. Electric: Epiphone Sheraton (this but blonde). Everything else I own is currently out on permanent loan somewhere or other. If I had money I’d be a collector, but I don’t.
If someone gave me a $5000 gift certificate to Elderly or Mandolin Brothers (likely, I know), I’d buy a Gibson F mandolin. I play a lot of mandolin these days on a cheapo Kentucky.
