What Meditation would Maud Powell have played in 1912?

I’m getting ready to add an extract, Music and News on Tap as Bellamy Foretold Long Ago from the September 15, 1912 New York Times to my webpage. However, the photocopy of the original article isn’t very clear, so one word has me stumped. At one point it talks about “If you pine to hear Maud Powell play the Meditation from” and the name of the work looks something like “Thalt”. Powell was a famous violinist – I would appreciate it if someone could tell me the likely name of the piece. (I have a scan of the phrase in the original article at Powell phrase.)

Probably “Thaïs,” an opera by Jule Massenet.

Whoops, make that Jules Massenet.
