A little off-topic, I know, but as for which race I prefer, realistically, I would have to say Human, but Elves have that certain exoticness about them, you know? Of course, Human/Elf relationships always end tragically…
Yarster, as to your “less is more” idea there, Chaucer came up with that same idea, centuries ago-- Look for it in “The Wife of Bath’s Tale” (I think) from Canterbury Tales.
Anti Pro, I don’t know if I am an MS or not: what’s an MS?
Manhattan: I wasn’t acting or expecting scientific answers so I guess the question is kinda catty. Move it to IMHO; sociological facts usually arrive at the scene of the crime just after the rumors left. - MC
I like big butts, and I cannot lie
And you other brothers can’t deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face you get sprung.
I wanna pull up tough,
Cause you notice that butt was stuffed
Even through the jeans she’s wearing
I’m hooked and I can’t stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get wid ya
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But that butt you’ve got makes me so horny.
Ooh, rubber smooth skin (?)
You say you wanna get in my Benz?
Well use me, use me, cause you ain’t that average groupie.
I seen her dancin’. To hell with romancin’.
She’s sweat, wet, got it goin’ like a turbo ‘Vet.
I’m tired of magazines, sayin’ flat butts are the thing
Take the average black man and ask him that:
She gotta pack much back.
So fellas (yeah) fellas (yeah)
Has your girlfriend got some butt (hell yeah)
So shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it
Shake that healthy butt. Baby got back.
I like ‘em round and big.
An when I’m throwin’ a gig
I just can’t help myself
I’m actin’ like an animal
Now here’s my scandal:
I wanna get you home and
Uh, double up, uh, uh
I ain’t talkin’ bout Playboy
Those silicone parts are made for toys.
I want ‘em real thick and juicy
So find that juicy double
Mix A Lot’s in trouble
Beggin’ for a piece of that bubble
So I’m lookin’ at rock videos
Nothing but bimbos walkin’ like hoes
You can keep those bimbos
I’ll keep my women like Flo Jo
A word to the thick soul-sisters:
I wanna get wid ya; I won’t cuss or hit ya
But I gotta be straight when I say a wanna
(uh) ‘til the break of dawn.
Baby, I got it goin’ on!
A lot of (?) won’t like this song
'Cause those punks like to hit it and quit it
But I’d rather stay and play
'Cause I’m long and I’m strong
And I down to get the friction on.
So ladies (yeah) ladies (yeah)
Do you wanna roll my Mercedes (yeah)
Turn around, stick it out
Even white boys got to shout. Baby got back.
Spoken Interlude:
Yeah Baby, when it comes to females, Cosmo ain’t got nothin’ to do with my selection. 36" 24" 36", huh, only if she’s 5’3"!
So your girlfriend rolls a Honda
Playin’ workout tapes by Fonda
But Fonda ain’t got a motor in the back of her Honda
My anaconda don’t want none unless you’ve got buns hun
You can do side-bends or situps
But please don’t lose that butt
Some brothers wanna play that hard role
And tell you that the butt ain’t gold
So they toss it and leave it and I pull up quick to retreive it.
So Cosmo says you’re fat
Well I ain’t down with that
‘Cause your waist is small and you’re curves are kickin’
And I’m thinkin’ about stickin’
To the beanpole dames in the magazines?
You ain’t it Miss Thing.
Give me a sister, I can’t resist her
Red beans and rice didn’t miss her.
Some knuckle-head tried to dis
'Cause those girls are on my list
He had game but he chose to quit 'em
And I pull up quick to get wid 'em
So ladies if your butt is round
And you want to triple-Xpo down
Dial 1-900-Mix A Lot, and kick them nasty thoughts
Baby got back.

Analysis:
There are two dynamics at work in this song. First, the blatant objectification of women. Second, an affirmation of natural body form. The lyrics deliberately opposes the dominant culture’s “beauty myth” as represented by “Cosmo,” “Playboy,” “36” 24" 36"" and “Fonda.” While it is a protest against a master narrative of sexual attractiveness, it reduces women’s beauty to a sexual object of possession. One particular example of this is the repeated bull-whip sound played at the end of many lines as well as the bed-creaking sound effect which plays throughout.
While the objectifying message is particularly aggressive, credit should be given for it’s affirmation of more natural beauty. To my knowledge, it is the only popular song by a male artist which directly challenges the “beauty myth.” That counts for something.

LOL Chronos I spit milk on my screen.
I do not believe there is any racial basis to personal preferences. My roommate and I are both white males of mostly Anglo-Saxon descent. I personally, am attracted to a pretty face and alluring scent. My roommate only requires a pulse. Go figure.
