What might this noise be coming from my Ford Escape? Video inside

I drive a 2010 Ford Escape. Runs fine, drove it today with this issue ongoing. No engine lights of any kind come on. If I hadn’t hear this noise when I got out of my car, I would not have noticed it.

It’s a rattling type noise, not a squealing. Like a pebble is hitting around, but that isn’t it.

I recorded it and you can hear it pretty well. I swear it wasn’t doing it later, but then it started again this evening.

Sounds like a belt based on the frequency. Have a look and see if they are intact, no obvious cracks or chunks missing.
It doesn’t sound like valvetrain noise. Try turning on your AC when it happens again and see if it goes away. It could be the pulley on your AC is going. or maybe the tensioner pulley.

My A/C makes a similar noise when it is on. Been doing it for a year or two so far.
