Can I, suggest a TV miniseries rather than a movie?
Back to back Band of Brothers episodes on over the weekend on a PayTV channel and just had to sit and watch them. (Embarrassed to admit that I then switched to the 2 hour delay version of that same channel to watch the start of the episode that I missed)
I probably wouldn’t make a point of watching any of these movies listed if I saw them in the TV guide but if I happened upon one of them Iprobably wouln’t turn them off.
Can’t turn off Die Hard tho.

All I can figure is that it’s some kind of alien mind control. Perhaps there are subliminal commands embedded in the movie that we are particularly vulnerable to.

If an enemy wanted to neutralize me, he doesn’t have to kill me. He can take over a movie channel and play most of the films listed here, over and over.
I would never be able to leave the house.
