What movie has a rolling ball clock mechanism at the beginning?

Need some help finding a video clip of this. My memory is hazy but IIRC it’s in the beginning of the movie while the title and credits are rolling, and it shows the mechanism of a rolling ball clock. The rolling ball and the track it runs on are brass, ISTM. The track for the ball lies on a flat piece of brass, either a square or rectangular plate, and the track is carved to form a zigzag. This track is such that the ball starts at one side of the plate, which is raised, and gravity causes the ball to slowly zigzag down to the lowered other side of the plate. When that happens the mechanism then raises that side and lowers the other, and the ball works itself back to where it came from.

The track for the ball to roll along is cut through the flat plate. You can see through the plate along the track. The track is not a shallow groove cut into the plate such that the plate would hold water.

I believe the clock is a Congreve clock. A guess.

I believe the movie came out around 2005 or 2010, or thereabouts. IIRC.

Do you know what movie this is from? The movie is a drama, IIRC, with plot twist(s) and such — not a comedy or romance movie, etc.

It is not the movie, Fracture (2007), and its beginning is shown here > Fracture - YouTube — however that beginning has the same effect as the beginning I’m trying to think of, somewhat mesmerizing, and tantalizing.

Links appreciated.

Intersection?
“Trivia
The unusual clock is a replica of a “Congreve” clock. It is based on a design by the English engineer, William Congreve”

Not a movie, but could it be the opening from “Elementary” ?

No it’s not Elementary.

You know, it might be Intersection, that title seems to ring a bell. But I would need to see a video of the beginning of the movie to tell. I searched a little but couldn’t find it.

I just read the plot summary on wiki and I really think that is the movie.

I wish you would have started wit this.

Ahh, yeah, I can see that now.

Thanks for this @Czarcasm, but alas, that’s not it. And I remember that movie, too. But the scene I remember is not from Intersection.

Rats! So I’m back to the beginning. (sigh)
