What movies are commonly quoted or alluded to on the SDMB?

On post 41 of this thread, Sample the Dog quotes Office Space. Having seen the movie, I got it. But if I had not seen the movie, it would have completely escaped me. I would not have even known a movie was quoted/alluded to.

So, what movies are commonly quoted or alluded to here? (Please post or link to an example.)

One movie so far: Office Space. Example is above.

WRS

Well I was going to say Office Space but it looks like that one’s taken.

I don’t know they’re not movies but The Simpsons and Monty Python get quoted about as often as anything.

The Big Lebowski, sometimes. Often when a rug gets peed on.

The Princess Bride. Clerks.

MST3K gets referenced quite a lot.

Anything Monty Python. I’d post a link but it’d be hard to choose from so many threads.

I’d add Pulp Fiction to that list, and maybe Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, and Transformers: The Movie. For TV shows, South Park gets a lot of quotes and cites.

How did I miss the Monty Python reference? I just dunno.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen these before, though I do visit many message boards where references like these are par for the course.

Princess Bride (“Inconceivable?” “Never get involved in a land war in Asia” and the whole Inigo Montoya schpeel)
Fight Club (The first rule of Fight Club, Robert Paulsen, etc)
Clerks (“I’m not even supposed to be here today” “In a row?” etc)
Mallrats (“Like the back seat of a Volkswagen?”)
Spaceballs (“And I see your Schwartz is as big as mine!” etc)
Tarantino movies (“I just shot Marvin in the face!” etc)
Ghostbusters.

This is just scratching the surface, I’m sure.

Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Life of Brian
Rocky Horror
This is Spinal Tap

The Boondock Saints, I’d love to think. “You know what we need man? Some rope!” must come in handy in GD…
