Yeah…and they could all use the money!
Married With Children doesn’t need a reunion. It would ruin the illusion that the new show Modern Family is just a thinly disguised sequel, showing how successful the Bundys would be if/when Peggy left Al. And that Bud is gay.
Didn’t one of the kids wind up as a Baywatch babe? That deserves some followup.
I have actually thought that I would love to see what the kids from Roseanne are up to now (as in, what the characters in the show ended up doing, not the actors who played them) and that if there was a really good writer up to the task that a reunion could really work.
Unfortunately with the show killing off Dan and Glenn Quinn (Mark) dying of a drug overdose several years ago that would change the dynamics of the show quite a bit but I still think it could be done.
Don’t give them ideas.
Please, just don’t.
Three’s Company didn’t need to be there in the first place, let alone have a reunion show. . .
Ugh.
I actually would like to see something like that. I would especially like a scene where they are desperate and somebody finally screams, “How could we have been so stupid as to sail those ships into the sun? We could have used all that technology?”
That show was so popular during it’s run, I’m really surprised they haven’t raped its corpse with a reboot movie by now.
A one off movie (comedy) with all of the Newhart (Bob) cast as actors…written and directed by the Coen brothers with Bob as co-writer director.
(Frankly, I think it would be freakin’ awesome.)
…
By, “one off”- I mean it shouldn’t have anything to do with Newhart. A seprate and new concoct of that ensemble. Lots of ripe talent there… I think the Coens write best to characters realized. I think their movies are written specific to, and for character/actors… they are driven by this kind of cameo and dissonance. Be agreat tribute… seems like bread and butter.
How 'bout the old guy who was living with him. Who was he the grandpa or something? I mean what kind of awful man is he that his daughter would rather hire a total stranger to watch over her kids rather than rely on the grandpa, who for some reason was always around the house anyway.
All In The Family, does need a reunion show. Archie would be dead, Mike is divorce from Gloria, although Danielle Brisebois turned out to be an extremely talented and impressive singer. It’d be fun to watch her sing for an hour.
I thought the Cosby show ended well. The children from the early seasons were grown. Had the show continued, they would have gotten into grandchildren and retirement for Cliff Cosby.
I know the last St Elsewhere ended as a dream.
Before that, didn’t the hospital close? It’s been a long time ago. I vaguely recall a storyline about it closing.
