My votes would be for a once or twice a year special for the cast of the CAROL BURNETT SHOW (not just to show clips but to do new sketches) OR
a reunion/continuation of NORTHERN EXPOSURE. Since most of the characters weren’t related it would be pretty easy to write out Rob Morrow or anybody else who didn’t want to participate. Holling & Shelley’s kids would be schoolage now, Maurice and Officer Semanski would probably have kids now, and the rest of the cast is still pretty much around (save for Ruth Anne, who recently died).
I would have liked to have seen a reunion/wrap-up for Yes, Prime Minister. I imagine some trivial crisis blowing up into a full-fledged scandal and the Prime Minister being kicked out of office. (Probably being sent to the House of Lords, and the PM fighting it all the way.)
As long as we can have the dead reurn, I nominate the original SNL cast with Belushi and Radner.
The cast of MOONLIGHTING: Bruce Willis, Cybil Shepard, Allyce Beasley and Curtis Armstrong. Include a walk-on by Al Jarreau singing the theme song, Paul Sorvino’s return as David Addison’s father and Johnathan Lipnicky as Agnes’ and Herbert’s son and I’m THERE, man.
It’s in syndication somewhere? Why isn’t this show in syndication at MY house? I can watch MAS*H,Siendfeld and Friends all damn day long if I want to but I can’t watch 21Jump Street and Moonlighting? A travesty.
I was going to say St. Elsewhere but (excuse me if this spoiler box is excessive)
They killed so many characters off in the end and then had that weird twist ending where it was all in the mind of an austistic child so I don’t know how it would work
Another vote for the Bob Newhart Show, and a vote for the Seinfeld cast to reunite. I loved that show. While I’m at it, Happy Days would be cool to see today.
