My adjective for Kasich would be “extant,” and even then I’m not entirely convinced the evidence is there.

Good job calling out the communistic evil of Bernie Sanders. I just thought I should mention, living as I do up here in Canada, that last fall we elected as Prime Minister a guy who is considerably to the left of Bernie Sanders politically, and is even more of an idealist.
And so as the dark days of Leninist-Stalinist communism settle upon us, the evil effects are already being seen. Taxes have been cut for the middle class, environmental protection and clean water initiatives have been restored and strengthened, investments made in scientific research, technological innovation and youth employment, and commitments made to climate change mitigation. Pretty soon I expect we’ll be just like Stalinist Soviet Russia and there will be totalitarianism and mass starvation. I’ll be sure to let you know when it happens, if we still have electricity and Internet.

I halfway tried to be less unflattering, but no, they are a weird bunch. Kasich and Sanders are pretty sane, I think, but the others range from creepy to in over their heads.

(ETA: Clinton is just creepy, Cruz is super creepy, Trump is creepily in over his head, Rubio is in way over his head, and Carson is obliviously in over his head.) (I think Sanders is up to his neck, but treading water, and Kasich may be swimming for shore.)
