What other movies or TV series deserve a special edition or remastering?

No changes in plot please, just movies or series that need in your opinion be updated for the 21st century like the re-mastering done to *Star Trek * the original series.

Many do remember the Special Editions of Star Wars, many wondered what was the point by making Greedo shoot first, but overall the new editions had good enhancements. But other movies really do stretch the need for an update: ET did have new CGI additions, but they also digitally eliminated the guns from the police forces. :rolleyes:

But I digress… I just recently saw *The Last Star Fighter * and while it was derivative of Star Wars, it has remained a very fun movie, yet the current special effects do scream “update!” I would like to see a special edition in theaters.

Although I think some would complain, I also think *The Princess Bride * needs some updating, particularly in the case of the ROUS.

So, what are your suggestions?

A special edition of Stealth, with at least a rudimentary three-view diagram of the Talon aircraft. Preferably some technical info, too.

…for no other reason than so people will stop bringing it up on my flight sim message boards. And the only reason we’ll have to give for not building it is that it’s a complete aerodynamic nightmare that the software can’t begin to simulate properly! AAAARRGH!

That’d be nice.
