Mine is a Samsung Duos something-or-other of model SM-G531H that is only usable at home with landline-driven WiFi because we’re beyond cell tower range in our remote mountain cranny. GPS will lead you elsewhere. Heh heh.
Interest that you say that. I have an eye phone somethingorother that is supplied through work. The “workings” of the Blackberry that I had before were much better but they don’t making anything compatible for it anymore, aps, updates etc. so I’m another apple-lemming.
VTech cordless phone (landline).
Essential Phone PH-1. Android 10 and lacks the three things I really want in a phone: a real audio jack, Water and dust proofness(?), and an external SD card. My next phone will ahve all three.
Nokia 7.1
It was the best unlocked phone that played nice with T-Mobile for ~$200 when I bought it. Which is about my price point for a phone. Previously, I had a LePro from LeEco’s failed attempt to get into the North American market which I might still be using except the battery swelled and started to pop the screen out after a few years.
I’ve got a Pixel 4 that I picked up on Black Friday. The savings made it almost reasonably priced and the camera is awesome. I’ve been playing with astrophotography mode and am really impressed.
The negative reviews all focused on the battery life and storage. I’ve been using a 32GB phone for so long (OG Pixel) that 64GB seems massive. I’m also never too far away from a charger so battery life doesn’t bother me. I usually charge to 80% in the morning and it lasts me from 6am to 7pm with little issue. I’m very happy with my purchase!
Personally I don’t have a phone. However, I have a work supplied iPhone that I use for my music and occasional personal stuff. Every couple of years it is upgraded it to the latest version.
iPhone 7. Upgraded so that the husband and I can use the same charging cable.
Anyone else have to look at their phone to see exactly which model it is?
Currently a Motorola flip phone using Tracfone. However, I’m seriously considering upgrading, primarily because a convention I work at has started using Telegram for staff announcements, and trying to access it on my laptop isn’t working out very well. I checked the Tracfone site and they have several Samsung models which are reasonably priced.
The wife and I have matching Samsung J7 phones that we bought last year, upgrading from flip phones. We also have a landline in the house.
iPhone 8 plus.
Galaxy Note 9
iPhone 6s. I bought it this past summer when my 5c died, because it was the cheapest iPhone I could buy brand new.
Samsung S8+.
Brand new IPhone XS.
My beloved 6S bit the dust on Christmas Day. The charging port went kablooie.
I was planning to either get an 8 or go big and get the 11 Pro. The Verizon store had a promotion where the XS was only a buck more per month than the 8 so I went with that. (The 11 Pro would have been substantially more).
I’m still getting used to the buttonless design, but I really like having so much more screen on a phone barely larger than the 6. I absolutely LOVE the OLED screen. Really makes a difference. And I was delighted to find out that the newer iPhones are water resistant as I lost my 5 when I dropped it in a toilet.
I don’t like the lack of a headphone jack but I had no choice.
Samsung Note 9
Very occasionally, I make a call with it, but that’s really not what it’s for.
Pixel 3a.
I love it. It does everything I want a phone to do. The cost ($400 for an unlocked phone) was quite reasonable.
Battery life is fantastic, if you’re thoughtful about your settings.
It’s an upgrade from a Nexus something-or-other (I forget). I was pretty happy with that phone, too. It lasted me about five years before the battery went.

It’s some offbrand flip phone. Lemme go check… aah yes. ZTE. Looks like it’s a Z232 TracPhone (prepaid thingie).

A green rotary wall phone
