Superman had a Broadway musical named after him: It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s Superman. The title song (“It’s Superman”) mentions him, of course, though the best song in the score was something called “You’ve Got Possibilities,” sung by Linda Lavin.
wu tang clan used to refer to marvel superheros quite often, even took on superhero aliases. method man was johnny blaze (ghostrider), ghostface was tony starks (ironman). ghostface released an album called “ironman.”
