What’s Green and Has Horns?

My wife is trying to think of a name for her newly-acquired Fischer’s Chameleon. We’re both racking our brains trying to think of any fictitious figure that is green and has two horns. So far, neither of us can come up with anything. It can be from any source—classic literature, comic books, television, mythology, folklore—anything. I’m leaning towards Spock, even though he doesn’t have horns. Can anybody help us fill in the blanks here? Despite the fact that he’s not a cat and therefore doesn’t fall under the unwritten SDMB pic rule, I’ll try to post some later after he calms down. Right now he’s still freaked out from being uprooted and moved to a new environment.

Two green cars?

ETA: How about Britt Reed?

(You know – the Green Hornet)

Camo
Where The Hell Is He?

The Count Basil Orchestra.

Pretty li’l beastie. You could call him Bowie, after the “Chameleon of Rock.”

You could call him Amok Time, after the episode in which Spock got horny.

If it’s a chameleon, does it really have to be green?

Karma.

Shrek

Puff, the Magic Dragon.

H.R. Puf’n’stuff. (Who was yellow, not green, but whose face looked sort of like a chameleon.)

Among D&D players, dragons are traditionally named “George”.

In one of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ novels, Tarzan visits the land of Pal-ul-Don, where dinosaurs roam. The natives referred to a triceratops as a “gryph”.

How about Baragon from Japanese monster movies?

Also King Seesar

As I was beaten to the Green Hornet reference, I have nothing to add.

How about Lorne?

Good one.

Speaking of Burroughs, how about Tars Tarkas?

A seasick Viking?

Greedo.

Bowser and King Bulbin come to mind. If I had a pet lizard, though, I think I’d call it ‘the little green man’. Of course, I’ve also suggested calling a cat ‘little fuzzy guy’.

ETA: just thought of another one: An environmentally conscious metal head!

Obviously! Otherwise known as Krevlornswath of the Dethwok Clan. Quite a charming guy. And a snappy dresser…

(No, I didn’t check the spelling.)

Gretchen?

LOL! I was expecting Lorne_Green Ben Cartwright . . .
Smaug

Also, never, never, never google the words “green dragon” from work. I think I’m gonna have some 'splainin to do . . .
