What season of Buffy is this? Should I continue?

Seven.

“Evil, good, these are moral absolutes that predate the fermentation of malt and fine hops.”

“There will be no Thomas Aquinas at this table!”

“Giles, don’t make caveslayer unhappy.”

Sorry, Otto, misread on my part.

Count me in as one more who likes “Beer Bad,” (and as someone who loves beer.)

I just finished watching the whole series for the first time, and overall I was quite impressed and wound up buying the whole series. My favorite seasons were three and five; my least favorite was season four (though you can add me to the list of those who liked the beer episode). I did like season seven, but not as much as the rest of the series. I realized I was the biggest nerd in the universe when I got to the end of season three; I was watching it alone, on my couch, at three in the morning, and at the part where

all the kids throw off their graduation robes and we see they’ve all got crossbows and battle axes and other assorted weapons, and are ready for battle

I jumped off my couch, threw my fist in there air, and yelled “YEAH!” then looked around and realized there was no one there with me, and that I wasn’t sure if I’d be more or less of a dork if there was someone to see my outburst.

But anyway, yeah, keep watching through season three at least, it’s great stuff.

I was sold at the beginning of the episode when Willow gave her Springer guest star act. She’s never been more adorable.

I lost count, but I’m another (eight or nine), although I’m not so fond of beer.

Add me to the list of people who like “Beer Bad”. It was one of the first episodes of Buffy I saw on its original airing (yes, of course I have seasons 1-3 on DVD now), and I must have enjoyed it enough to continue watching the show, right?

What the fuck was that episode later in the season where Buffy and Riley can’t stop having sex? That was a shitty episode.

“With beer, all men are equal.”

I liked that episode. And I don’t like beer.

I’ve decided to continue the series. I put disc one of season three in my Netflix queue.

You won’t regret it. We’ve been quoting Episode #2 in this thread, and Episode #3 “Faith, Hope and Trick” is a doozy. Disc #2 is better yet. Order Discs #5 & #6 together. You’ll want to take them in one big lump (“Doppelgangland, Enemies, Earshot, Choices, The Prom, and Graduation Day Parts 1 & 2”). Just block out a whole day for those.

Grrrrr… Beer no bad. Beer good! Malt liquor better… Mmmrrrrgrrrrrr! Buffy good TV… so good even caveman like!

So NJ_Kef, what you are saying is, it has the Og seal of approval ?

d&r

Put me in the I like “Beer Bad” camp

I also like Beer Bad. Quite possibly because apart from the specific consequences, it’s was one thing that many, many people at my undergrad learned over and over again.

That was Where The Wild Things Are. It was horrid.
