What shitheads bought Donald Trump's snake oil?

Will “the Donald” tell himself “you’re fired”?? that would be poetic justice. His real estate empire is likely a house of cards also-I expect to read (some day), that his properties in NYC are mortgaged to the hilt, and facing foreclosure.
Now if he would DO something about his HAIR!

What in the hell is wrong with pitting egotistical, ego maniacal, self important, condescending, self-aggrandizing, know-nothing blowhards like Donald Trump? He, like GWB, is an idiot son who somehow found a way to turn his incompetence into fortune by becoming a tool for a bunch of opportunistic thugs and exploiting connections at the expense of the greater good.

Trump was a guy that (supposedly) wrote books on how to do a deal, how to be a successful businessman, blah, blah, blah. It was, and is, all bullshit. Take other people’s money, pay yourself handsomely, then when the bills come due show them that they are better off continuing to prop you up than the pain of taking their medicine. There was nothing there in the first place other than hubris.

From the time I first heard of this guy I’ve done everything I can to avoid sending any money his way. He was obviously radioactive from the get-go. Yet, people bought into it. People paid good money to go to his “seminars” and buy his books. They watched his reality programs, which were totally lame, as though they had anything to do with management. His legacy is a string of bankruptcies, failures, near failures, and bad hair. What’s with the Chicago project, the casinos and the Miss American Pageant, etc.? The rest of the holdings are very close to bankruptcy. You didn’t see it coming?

It’s all phony, just like Madoff and Stanford. Fuck him and those that he screwed.

This is the Pit. Why should I be nice? “Nice” is for somewhere else.

I imagine Donald Trump says this about every fucking hour.

If you were fortunate enough to have regularly read Spy magazine in its glory days (I consider it probably the finest magazine I’ve ever encountered), you would understand that rape would have been one of the nicer things Trump might have done.

If I ever meet that piece of semi-human scum and shake his hand, I’m gonna steal the epithet used every time that man’s name was printed in Spy, and proclaim:“I see you really are a short-fingered vulgarian!”

As for the Wikipedia entry on Spy, the following sentence isn’t quite accurate: “It specialized in intelligent, thoroughly researched, irreverent pieces targeting the American media and entertainment industries.” In truth, it specialized in intelligent, thoroughly researched, irreverent pieces targeting bullshit and chicanery of all kinds. As the Wiki entry puts it later: “For a humorous magazine, *Spy *was often aggressive about straight feature reporting.”

That’s quite an understatement! For just one example, they went after the murder of an American investigative reporter by shadowy government security contractors such as Wackenhut (the Blackwater of it’s day), and faced down hundreds of lawsuits and government threats.

They exposed George H.W. Bush’s long-time affair with Jennifer Fitzgerald that the rest of the media dared not cover.

*Spy *also thoroughly investigated a bizarre, multi-million dollar theft, arson, porn, and murder case in which I was peripherally involved (one of the accomplices tried (and failed) to get me to “invest” in some scheme without revealing any details; he simply assured me that I stood to make a fortune. No special insight was necessary to make me run speedily away from *that *kind of thing! But I didn’t learn what it was all about until I read Spy’s astonishing investigative piece some months later.)

The demise of Spy was a national tragedy. The George W. Bush Administration would have been very different if the Spy of the Kurt Andersen and E. Graydon Carter days had still been publishing…
