What shoes do I wear with ice cream slacks?

I just bought some pretty cool looking ice cream colored pants. Maybe a bit lighter colored. Now, I need some shoes to go with them. Excluded are dark brown, oxblood/maroon, black, and white. Tennis shoes are out. Cole Haan stopped making their Waxy colored shoes. Are there any cool semi-dress/casual shoes that go well with this color (under 200 bucks)? I will wear them for a job interview.

Thanks,

hh

What flavor?

vaniller.

What the hell color is “ice cream colored”???

Without further definition, I’m gonna have to suggest waffle-cone-coloered shoes.

Without further definition, I’m gonna have to suggest waffle-cone-colored shoes. Maybe a nice whipped-cream-colored shirt, hot fudge tie, and a maraschino-cherry hat.

Sperry Top-Siders

Maybe not for a job interview.

Light brown would probably work.

White vinyl loafers and matching belt. Accesorize with the state of Florida and a golf club. Practice yelling “You fuckers get off my lawn!”

Plain vanilla, vanilla bean, or French vanilla?

I’m seeing ivory-colored patent leathers.

Or, taking a cue from the palette here:

How about we call the color WHEAT?

“Ice cream suit.” I hadn’t heard that expression in years, until they made a movie of the Ray Bradbury story of the same name.

Shoes: wing-tips
Jacket: candy-striped “Charleys’s Aunt” blazer
Hat: straw boater, preferably coconut fiber

Job interviewing for: something that invovles traipsing in and asking “Tennis anyone?”

Umm, wow. What’s left? The only thing I can think of is either gray Western boots in Ostrich skin, or maybe gray shoes in either the same (if you can find 'em) or just a light gray leather. I’m just not sure how this would really look, though, so don’t take it as a suggestion, but rather a possibility.

Marmalade loafers.

Actually, I seriously think that waffle-cone color would work. You know, light tan. What’s the job, though? White pants are pretty informal.

I’ll vote for these: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/12340782/c/5.html

Thanks for all of the good input.
It is a bit beastly trying to match shoes. The ones linked by **Kalhoun ** are fair, but there isn’t the *heft * to them that I’m really looking for. Sorry for not getting back to you to thank all of you sooner.
Thanks again,
hh

I’m on my second pair of these . (They aren’t nearly as dark as that picture suggests)

These would also work.

I’m going to go with these, but you’ll have to tuck your pants into them.

Honestly, don’t wear white pants to a job interview, unless you’re applying for harbor master or Colonel Sanders. You don’t want your clothes speaking for you on a first meeting with a prospective employer. Stick with black, grey and navy blue, and after you score the gig, then show off your “flair”. That being said, kudos to you if you’re the kind of guy who can pull off white pants and not look like a total dork.
