What should I use for my senior quote?

You could do what a couple of people at my high school did … design your quote such that the first letter of every word spells out a particularly, um, strongly worded remark about a teacher you happen to dislike.

“Four years and a cloud of dust.”

Are you allowed to post—er, write anything in another language?

If you know who your picture partner is going to be (that is, if you are going to be on the other side of a page from someone), you could each do “Turn this page over to see how to keep an idiot busy for hours.”

“If you have an enemy, walk a mile in thier shoes. That way, you’ll have a good head start and they are bare foot.”

“I may look like I’m doing nothing but, at the cellular level I’m really quite busy.”

“I’ll see you in Hell!”

My senior quote was “Man oh man, do I love cheese!”

“I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.”
If you want to find movie quotes (and great Simpsons as well), look here.

“Nothing like like a little random malevolence to brighten one’s day.”

Or,

“When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other.” ~ Eric Hoffer ~

Since we are here to Fight Ignorance, and ya gotta admit the Bible is a popular book;

Proverbs 16:16

How much better to acquire wisdom than gold!
To acquire understanding is more desirable than silver.

Or KJV style:

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!
and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

If you are a hellian it will confuse everyone.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Either that whole Catholic thing goes, or I go.” ~Mutilated quote from Wilde.

“Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.”
–psalms 137:9

You can find more good ones at the Landover Baptist Church.

How about just “Matthew 6:15”

This seems appropriate on several levels. One, of course, is the reflection of high schools. The truest, however, is that clayton_e is asking for ideas from others with which to express his individuality.

Justin

That was pretty mean–jeez, at least Clay knows that there are alot of good quotes he doesn’t know. That’s pretty good for a high school student.

The best advice I can give on this is to not use initials for everything.

Example:

Good times with Tom, Dick and Harry summer of 99! I love you Jane.

not:

Good times with TS, DS, and HS summer of 99! I love you JS.

Sure, it wastes space, and it’s different from everybody else, but it looks nicer. Plus others actually have some clue what you are talking about.

“Eschew Obfuscation”

or my sig

“Hell is other people” Sarte

“I’ll never see any of you again and will barely remember any of this.”

I wasn’t trying to be mean. It was meant as a pretty gentle rib. Besides, clayton seems to be able to take this kind of thing in stride, and laugh at himself. If I’ve offended, I apologize.
