I’ve never seen anything like that in a store before (at least not outside of the night clothes section, anyway!) and I’ve done an inordinent amount of clothes shopping lately.

They’re all over the place. Diane von Furstenberg is the queen of the wrap dress (see website here).

I’m surprised at the hate - wrap dresses do amazing things for the female form. I have a couple and I get TONNES of boy attention when I’m wearing them. They’re super figure flattering - they flatter curves, and make boyish figures look very feminine.

This took me a few reads to figure out, because I read it as Mirandized, as in: “You have the right to remain silent . . . .”

As a dude that is totally into anything that does “amazing things for the female form” I’m all for wrap dresses. They have this whole indicating-sexyness-without-revealing-too-much that’s sort of like a birthday present that’s heavy and rattles. It might be a wood router, it might be Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, it might be a pair of stainless steel .40S&W Sig P229s, but whatever is inside is going to be awesome.

Just sayin’. We likes the wrap dresses.
