I voted “Queen” after checking the linked mattress sizes, but I’m pretty sure that is normally known as a King in the UK (5 ft width). Anything bigger is, I think, a Super King. But I could be wrong.
Queen, and I will never ever *ever *again buy a smaller mattress–and if I ever buy a mattress with someone else for a shared bed, it will probably be a king. I shared a full with a boyfriend for several months once–never again.
When I’m sleeping alone, the half of the bed I’m not currently using usually gets a small stack of books. (Though that even happened when I was a kid and had a twin bed.)
Heh. When hubby is traveling for work, ‘his’ half of the bed gets my book, my glasses, and maybe a bottle of Benadryl and a box of Kleenex!
