Dreamy sounding song that has the word “daydream” in it. Man’s voice. I want to say 2000s or 2010s. This is a long shot but this group is amazing at this kind of thing.

Gotta have more info. “Daydream” is a title and subject that is too easily and often rendered as “dreamy” sounding.

Probably not it, but the first thing that popped into my head was Fireflies by Owl City.
More along the lines of indie. I heard a song today that reminds me of it and I can only think of a snippet of it. Im racking my brain trying to think of more of the song or other details. Maybe it’s actually late 90s even, ugh.
