Thirding this one. Something about that video enraptured the 14-year-old me. Man, did I want some poison. More embarrassingly, Cold Hearted Snake, with the writhing dancers, still has some direct connection to my amygdala. I lost a lot of my youth to MTV and waiting for a glimpse of the one hot dancer on Club MTV.

The other day I heard Paula Cole’s “Feelin’ Love” for the first time. Made me hot enough, I can’t imagine how I’d have handled it when I was 16.
