In a bit of nostalgia, I picked up The Scorpion’s album World Wide Live in the bargain bin at Circuit City.
That was around 10 years ago. For some reason I added it to my iPod, yet don’t think I’ve ever actually listened to it since then.
I just skipped past a track from it yet again (I have it set to play all songs randomly).
I should just delete it from my library, yet I just can’t seem to bring myself to do it.
Any songs/albums you refuse to listen to, yet just can’t seem to part ways with?
American Pie. I never want to spend the 7-odd minutes on it but don’t want to delete it either.
None. If I don’t like a song, I delete it.
One just popped up on my computer: “Heart of Gold” by Neil Young. There are also a couple Bryan Adams ones (e.g., "Straight from the Heart), although I’m not sure if I even have them anymore or if I deleted them.
In the past couple of days, I was sort of on a kick where I would seek out songs in my iTunes that I hadn’t played since loaded them into my computer. Clearly they aren’t songs that I have a lot of attachment to, but given that it takes so little investment in computer space to keep them, I don’t see any reason to be rid of them. My tastes might eventually come around to the point where I just totally dig them.
Some Abba song from Mamma Mia (which I haven’t seen and don’t wanna). My husband put it on there when he was seeing if he could borrow stuff off my daughter’s playlist.
Jeez! “Dancing Queen” would have been better…
