I agree. Now that Joss is gone with his weird thing for Waif-fu, we can have a strong female character. Dont get me wrong, Whedon’s gift for writing snappy dialog is wonderful. Valkyrie could be good.
I dont like Captain Marvel, as Marvel simply is doing that to piss in DC’s cornflakes. Get over it already.

One problem is that the Avengers has always been somewhat of a sausage-fest. 
As a woman I appreciate the eye candy, I really do, but I was so happy at the end of Age of Ultron when there were TWO women and TWO black guys. I would love an Asian guy or girl. I guess it would have to be a girl, cause Asian men are just plain old unwanted.
I’ve hardly ever heard of any of these superheroines, but from the brief description in the poll, Valkyrie sounds best, so she’s got my vote.

DC is much more into Asian females. Marvel does them mostly as mutants (often assoc with Wolverine) or villains.

Having reviewed Gal Gadot’s IMBD bio, I see she’s 5’10", so I will retract my statement that a woman taller than me is tiny, particularly since she could probably kick my ass. Honestly, though, from her pictures (standing next to her Fast & Furious co-stars), she looked tiny. My bad.
