What the hell happened to Sarah Jessica Parker?!?!?

She was on Letterman last night, and Mr. Singular and I couldn’t beleive what we were seeing. She was twitching and fidgeting and giggling and babbling like Robin Williams after an 8-ball-if she wasn’t pregnant we would’ve sworn she was cranked up. And her face looked entirely different. I honestly can’t remember what she said (except something aboiut parasitic paparazzi), because I was totally entranced by her appearance. I think she’s had a nose job. It was the same kind of transformation Jennifer Grey had with her nose job.

Any theories?

I didn’t see it, but she’s looked relatively normal in those hair coloring commercials she does - “Know what my favorite color is now? Brown sugar #42 …”

(Ads still creep me out a little, though.)

I only watched the first 30 seconds of the interview. I couldn’t get through the whole thing because she was SUCH a ditz.

Maybe it’s the pregnancy.

She’s always been ditz (on Letterman anyway), but she did look completely different and I was trying to put my finger on what the heck it was too. I was assuming it was weight gain from her pregnancy, but I couldn’t see where the heck it would be! Her face and body didn’t SEEM to have any extra puffiness to them, but somehow her eyes actually looked smaller. Also, her hair was very flat when we’re used to seeing it with much more volume, and she had the least attractive bottle tan I’ve ever seen. I’m just relieved someone else noticed it, my husband claims he didn’t see any difference!

My first thought was “Ugh, what happened to her eyes?”

You can watch a clip of her here.

I didn’t see the show but, from pics I’ve seen, the minor weight gain has seemed to smooth out her face quite a bit. She is always very chirpy and ditz-ish on Letterman, and I’m sure the whole hormonal thing from her pregnancy isn’t helping much. As for the tan, it might also be a result of her pregnancy. It’s called melasma aka “the mask of pregnancy”, and, while it can occur in men, the non-permanent skin tone change is usually apparent in women who are pregnant or taking oral contraceptives. She could have this, or it might be a combination of it and fake tanner (to cover it up/even it out).
