Whenever I see Laura Bush on the tube, I half expect her face will someday just fall off and reveal nothing but circuitry behind, like the robot things in “The Bionic Woman” back in the day. If somebody tried to rewrite her programming to make her seem more human, this extreme over-animation might be the result.
“Why does the porridge-bird lay his eggs in the air?”
SmartAleq: Why are you offending the thousands of peaceful Undead-Americans? The Post Office never did anything to you!
Bosda: “[She] had that rare weird electricity about [her]–that extremely wild and heavy presence that you only see in a person who has abandoned all hope of ever behaving ‘normally.’”
My English friend suggests it’s not likely to be Charles. Doesn’t have the balls (bred out a long time ago). We think it might be Camilla. (And would explain that look of Charles’ face.)
It can’t be Camilla, both her hands are in front of her, (It looks to me like she’s holding Mr. Bush’s hand, her fingertips are barely visible. I doubt she’d be flexible enough to reach her far arm over discretely to goose Mrs. Bush.) and she doesn’t have a strange unbalanced stance. Unless she has retractable, prehinile limbs hidden up the backside of her gown?
You have 50 - 100 photographers start snapping away at you getting every expression and movement from all those different angles and you are going to have a weird/stupid look on your face in some, if not most, of them.
When an actor shoots headshots they ususally shoot three rolls, that’s 108 photos to you and me Rusty, and choose ONE of them. The choice usually comes down to two or three photos.
The only difference today is that the press core used to have the decency to throw away the crap shots and publish the good ones.
Very true. All very true. And yet, that picture sticks out as being particularly weird. As in weird that she even makes that face for the brief moment the picture was taken. Thus, warrenting comment.
(Whereas in the same picture Charles looks like a constipated ferret. But he always looks like that.)
