You inadvertently? opened two threads which were the same. The board perhaps glitched on you.
But you didn’t inadvertently open a thread in General Questions which asked a question which needed an answer. You opened a thread to which you knew the answer and you provided it. But, you just opened it in the wrong forum.
General Questions is generally reserved for people asking questions for which there is a factual answer for which they are seeking.
Since all you were trying to do is inform the TM’s about a situation of which you knew the answers, I felt that MPSIMS was the correct forum. You weren’t soliciting opinions, so IMHO was out. I didn’t think you needed to debate, so Great Debates was out. Truly, MPSIMS was it.
MPSIMS isn’t only for * mindless* posts. Just info you must share.
