What to do? (my job)

So I have kind of been half looking around for a job…
and as I started to look harder and actually send out my resume a few times, my employer just paid $2000 for me to take a 6 month training course… it is only 1 class per month… and it is basically things that I could learn so I would be able to teach otehr people…
It doesn’t have much “real world” knowledge appeal… so I am really not going to gain much value from the course for myself… but my boss will be happy because I will be able to train other people, and he will charge them money for my time… and I doubt I will see any of that…

So what do I do?
Stick out the course, and then start looking for a job?
or just keep looking and jet at a good opportunity?

If the class has no benefit to you or your career, and you want to look for another job, then what’s the dilemma? Keep looking for a job. Take the class. If you find a job before the class ends, that’s just your company’s tough luck.
