Nitpick: That is not the front we are talking about here. We would rather talk about the Russian front line that collapsed than the one which fell off.
Although, come to think of it, the front of the Kursk did fall off, literally:
OK, I retract my nitpick!
Yeah, that’s not very typical. I’d like to make that point. There are a lot of these subs going around the world all the time, and very seldom does anything like that happen.
I honestly hope I live long enough to find out what the real story was behind all that, and what Prigozhin was actually thinking. Of all the bizarre shit we’ve seen the last two years, that one has got to be #1. Even when the Russians are being incompetent fools, I can sort of understand what they’re doing, and why. But that whole episode made no sense, from beginning to end.
Sounds like Belarus’ Lukashenko is starting to get worried. He wants the war to end, and seems very concerned about his own country’s territorial integrity.
Belarus’ Lukashenko urges Russia and Ukraine to end war as Kursk incursion continues (msn.com)
Now if they can only get the entire Ukrainian military to agree to a plane ride. Purim’s a genius!
Uh, did auto-incorrect “help” here?
…that guy at the bar who cheers on the bully until he almost gets punched in the face during the brawl.
Yeah, odd auto correct given how often I rant about Putin online.
ETA: Lukashenko is wobbly, he needs to worry about his own uprising and Ukrainians tanks won’t help, then again, I’ve been saying that since the 90s
Lukashenko is concerned with the consequences for Lukashenko. Most of the time, that means sucking up to Putin, because Putin as an ally shores up Lukashenko’s domestic support. But also key to the security of Lukashenko is the loyalty of his military forces, and the rumor is that the Belarusian army will quite possibly mutiny if ordered to begin active participation in the war. If that’s true, Lukashenko is most likely aware of it, because I don’t get the impression that he’s one of those dictators that believes his own propaganda. All of his actions regarding the war to date are consistent with this analysis.
If this current map is accurate, they’ve also invaded south of Ulanok and are almost at Giri. If that’s the case then it should be easy to surround Ulanok from the rear since the terrain from Suzdha to Giri is pretty clear. But maybe it’s relatively unoccupied and so isn’t a threat since you’d be nuts to send green troops into a pocket if they aren’t there already.
Is it time for Ukr to report that they are attacking Nazis and liberating ethnic Ukranians in thos areas of Russia?
yep, if you strike the king - you strke to kill him … only punching his glasses off of his face has never worked.
I bet they got asked from the UKR minority to protect them against RU opression
JASSM may be supplied; let’s hope it’s the JASSM-ER version.
