What to Show after the Superbowl?

Fox announced that an hour long episode of Malcolm in the Middle will air after this year’s Superbowl. Not a bad call. It is a great show that is on the verge of becoming a HUGE hit. This was good exposure. After the superbowl is a great time to hook audiences on a show you really have faith in. That is how CBS got me hooked on Survivor.

However, I wish that Malcolm was only a half hour and was followed by an episode of Undeclared. I feel the show would truly benefit from such a shot in the arm.

If the other networks had the superbowl, it would be difficult to pick the shows that should have been aired this year:

CBS- CSI. Already a hit, but it could really get a jolt. Sadly, CBS has no new shows with any real promise.

ABC- ??? Maybe NYPD Blue with Zack. Of course, ABC seems to have given up on this show.

The following networks have no football package, but for fun…
NBC- Scrubs. A great new comedy.
WB- Smallville
UPN- Um…Enterprise?

I think they should just take a page from the Disney folks when they re-release one of their classic animated features. A documentary on The Making Of Superbowl (however-many-this-one-is).

Malcolm in the Middle? That’s a Sunday show. Does this mean there won’t be any Simpsons, any Futurama, any King of the Hill that night?

Those bastards.

Personally, I’d suggest a marathon showing of “Girls Gone Wild” followed by “Spring Break Coeds” and ending with “Women of Mardi Gras”.

With that many boobs, you CAN’T go wrong!
