CBS recently announced a licensing deal for some of its older TV shows. See here. You’ll get Ellie Mae Clampett Barbies and gifts based on the “Twilight Zone” among others. It got me to thinking, what licensed product from a TV show would you like to have? It doesn’t have to actually exist.
I’d be tempted to pay good money for a flight-suit from the new Battlestar Galactica.
The original KITT car. Period.
Tom Servo
Now that I am aware of this, I am very curious exactly what Twilight Zone merchandise they have in mind.
Broken glasses, dolls that accuse you of murder, cookbooks, that sort of thing.
The DeLorean from Back to The Future.
The black 'Cuda from Phantasm.
If we’re including TV shows, then I’d take the Mettalicar (black '67 Impala) from Supernatural (early version with the search lamps). (notice a pattern here?)
Non-car collectibles: Conan the Barbarian’s Atlantean Sword.
The Flying Guillotine.
The axe Jack uses in The Shining.
The tape that went over Megan Fox’s nipples while shooting the swimming scene in Jennifer’s Body.
Tom Selleck’s mustache.
But really, either Marc Singer’s (Donovan’s) blaster from the original 1984 “V” series, or the entire blast door Locke found in the Swan Hatch covered with fluorescing ink that reveals some of the mysteries and layout of the LOST island.
A V-doll with removable face mask to reveal the lizard head underneath. I know they exist (I’ve seen them on ebay), but they are expensive. I would like them to be re-issued so there would be some new, cheaper versions for those of us who can’t spend a lot on toys for adults. Heck, if they were under $30.00 I would be buying them to give to my neices because I think that would be cool toy to play with when I was a kid.
From the announcement
Mighty Mouse apparel? Brady Bunch loungewear?
For that matter, can I have a grammar check in aisle 1?
Yeah, I’d take that or the Dharma van that Hurley got running. Or maybe a bottle of Dharma Ranch Dressing.
And Jayne’s gun very favorite gun (he calls her Vera) from Firefly.
Seinfeld’s Superman Statue (statute?)
June Cleaver’s Pearls
Hawkeye’s Still
Fox Mulder’s Porn Collection
The Fusili Jerry.
Archie Bunker’s chair.
Ward’s favorite beaver.
mmm
Genuine original Spock’s ears.
That would be cool.
If not him or Crow, I’d love to have the axe Buffy gets towards the end of Buffy Season 7.
The Cookbook “To Serve Man.”
Geordi La Forge’s visor.
Jeannie’s bottle.
Dick Van Dyke’s ottoman.
Carol Burnett’s “Went with the Wind” dress.
I want Maxwell Smart’s shoephone.
John Steed’s umbrella.
And maybe a map of The Village.
OK, but I got dibs on the cone of silence.
