I remember watching this TV show/ movie as a kid and it creeped me out, now I don’t know how to find it.
I’m pretty sure it was a TV episode, filmed in the 60’s, black and white, along the lines of Twilight Zone, Outer Limits. I’ve looked up episode logs of these two shows along with Night Gallery and no episode descriptions sound like it.
There’s a young female librarian working late, she’s the only one there. It’s a large library and she’s on an upper floor. She’s going through old newspapers or something and somehow the headlines show the next mornings news (cue Twilight Zonish music).
She freaks out because the headline says something about “librarian found murdered” and it show a picture of the suspect. He looked like a more thuggish Al Capone from what I recall. I think it gave details in the newspaper article saying what time this murder is supposed to happen because I remember her watching the clock then the elevator door opens and it’s the guy in the paper. I don’t remember anymore. What show was this?
