Ok, it looks like all of the Million Dollar gameshows other than “Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?” are now defunct(I don’t consider “Survivor” or “Big Brother” gameshows), which was your favorite of these:
-Who Want’s to Be A Millionaire
-Greed
-Twenty-one
-Winning Lines
My oppinion, “Greed”, mainly because the questions were harder (Starts out 1/4, goes up to 1/5, then 4/6, 4/7, 4/8, 4/9, and for 2 million dollars 4/10), and it involved team dynamics, but you could also betray a member (Terminator).
Second Place: “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” cuz it was the original, but it can get tedious at times.
Third: “Winning Lines” because of the mass contestant pool, and the Wonderwall.
Fourth: “Twenty-one” sure you can win as much money as you can, but it seems too easy, and there is too much controversy around it. (Someone said they could have cheated because they could accually see Maury)
Regis definately. I absolutely despised Greed, thank god it was cancelled, they tried cheesey stuff trying to bring up the ratings. Bringing back past winners to answer a special qestion for the largest amount ever won on a gameshow. The question was so easy it was pitiful.
I have passed the first stage of Millionaire 3 times, but the second stage is random and have yet to be picked. Still trying though.
OK, GreatKingRat, I’ve done the original phone-in about 70 times, and passed about 30. According to their website, you have about 1000 to 1 chance of getting the callback. But don’t give up! I haven’t.
They really should change the way they pick contestants. Anyone who can’t answer the first 5 questions with all lifelines available really desn’t belong there… And they could weed out contestants with strange SOs (like the one with the dog puppets) or those stupid but lucky ones (practically everyone else who doesn’t make it to at least $1000).
1000 to one. Jeez. Did’nt think it would be that high.
I live in a town of about 20,000 and the only two people to make it on the show(but not to the hot seat) are married.
Have not tried in awhile, are the lines open right now?
