The Clangers
All 26 episodes for GBP9.99
Wheeeee!!!
Just got Star Trek II, director’s cut.
Ladyhawke
Fun movie. Terrible music.
The Animatrix.
Such a horrible waste of money.
Really? 3 out of the 4 pieces they showed online were actually pretty good. You didn’t like the others?
Bummer, I had high hopes for this.
Sharky’s Machine for $5 at Wal-Mart
Doctor Who: The Dalek Invasion of Earth, a two disc set with beautifully restored episodes, an option for new SFX shots, and the usual slew of extras which put most feature film releases to shame. I love owning a multi-regional TV system.
Star Trek: DS9, 3rd Season, and Sense and Sensibility about 2 weeks ago.
I’m thinking of getting Hellraiser today if I can find it at Suncoast.
Frailty.
Blazing Saddles
Good Will Hunting - Special Edition
This, too, was my most recent purchase and I strongly disagree with you. With the exception of 1 or 2 shorts, I thought the episodes were mostly outstanding. Far, far better than the real waste of money, The Matrix: Reloaded, which counts as my biggest movie disappointment of the year. Just terrible.
The Criterion Collection double-disc release of In the Mood for Love. Got it on E-Bay for less than $20, and it arrived in the mail yesterday. Woo-Hoo!
My last purchase was Band of Brothers - highly recommended for anyone who may not have seen it yet.
Giant just came out on DVD, and I got it a couple of days ago. Woot!
I bought 3 last week,
Adaptation
Old School
Catch me if you can
I got
**Reservoir Dogs
Blues Brothers
Tron
Goldfinger
**
from my local online dvd-shop, for $40 incl. shipping+handling.
Tron was a disappointment
I went a little nuts lately with buying DVDs.
X-Men 1.5
Das Boot - Superbit Edition
I Spit on Your Grave
2010 - $8 At Wal-Mart
GI Jane - $6 at Wal-Mart
**Nemesis
The Man Who Knew Too Little **- Also $8 at Wal-Mart
And I just placed anopther order, inspired by this thread, dammit:
**How the West was won - Led Zeppelin.
Mary Poppins and Hercules (2 for one)
Romper Stomper
Back to the Future box
**
all for $100. Not bad.
“The Secretary” I just love the ending.
