What was the last DVD you bought?

Spirited Away .

Oh, and Winsor Pilates for my wife. Or does that count?

Equilibrium. I’m looking at a budget crunch, though, so no more for a while. Rats.

I totally agree. I hated Reloaded too btw (an insult to the first movie).

I did get it. Also Strangers on a Train (the disc has both the American version, and the British one, which I haven’t seen before), and Hound of the Baskervilles, the Jeremy Brett version.

I also put in an order for Ed Wood and hope to have it next week!

Hmmm…I’m not 100% sure. I got one I’ve Been Waiting for You in the mail right around the time I bought BTVS seasons 3 & 4.

My newest DVD is Raising Arizona, though I didn’t buy it–it was a birthday present from my sister. The last DVD I actually bought was the second season of Babylon 5.

In the company of my SO, we bought the second season of The League of Gentlemen. Excellent as expected. Of course, now I’m stuck waiting for season 3 to come out on dvd.

About Schmidt for me; Ladyhawke for my mom’s birthday; The Blue Max for my dad for Father’s Day.

Real Genius
Krull
Way of the Gun
Labyrinth
Hackers

The video store near my house was going out of business. 50% off, but not much stock left. Also got about a dozen episodes from the first two seasons of Farscape

I got a two disc collection of the Three Musketeers and its sequel, The Four Musketeers (the ones starring Michael York as D’Artagnan) from my uncle, for no particular reason that I can discern.

Before that, it was Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away. Kinda disappointed in Castle, compared to Miyazaki’s later works. Spirited was sublime.

And I bought The Shane MacGowan Story a little while ago.

Is Region 1 finally available for the second season??? If so, where did you buy it?

It was either Spirited Away or the Vampire Princess Miyu box set (not my favorite anime but it came at a good price and I always wanted to see the rest of it).

Let me think…

Natural Born Killers and American Beauty (2 for $40 deal).

Repo Man !!

“Let’s go get sushi and not pay!”

Kingpin, The Abyss, and Seven.

Band of Brothers

I recommend it for anyone who enjoys movies about World War 2.

The Homicide: LOTS box set. I’m happy I can watch it again but sad how NBC ruined one of the best cop shows ever.
