What was the last river you crossed?

I cross the Cumberland River on my way to and from work each day.

Yes, I do. Seems like an odd concept. The geology of that area is fascinating. I thought it must be in the driftless area but I learned that after the glacier receded the land rose up. Never knew it could do that.

The moody weather and monster flies make it difficult for me to fully appreciate the area, however. But, oh, the moths - lovely, large and painted nocturnal creatures they are!

And nearly everywhere the sound of rushing water.

The Raritan River. Almost every day.

The Bow River. I cross it every day for work and will be crossing it later today to get to Canada Day activities.

The Rapidan River in Greene County, VA. It starts in the Blue Ridge mountains in Shenandoah National Park and goes East for 88 miles where it merges with the Rappahannock River just West of Fredericksburg, VA. Supposed to be a great river for fishing.

The Trinity River here in Fort Worth on a nice long walk yesterday at dusk.

Crossed not only by pedestrian bridge but also on a low water dam.

Saw fireworks going off somewhere back towards the zoo last night. It was a really nice evening to be out.

I crossed the French Broad on my way to the KMart yesterday.

I cross the Black and Waccamaw Rivers every day to and from work

Just crossed the mighty Caloosahatchee River an hour ago.

Skagit, Stilliguamish & Snohomish last week

A tributary of Guadalupe Creek, Los Gatos Creek.

Anybody ever cross the Rubicon?

Willamette for me as well.

Depending which way I go to work, I cross the Ramapo either once or three times each way. Only once this morning.

Yes, and it was my Waterloo.

Waterloo.

Now there’s a redundancy.

The Delaware. Usually cross it a few times per month

That would have been while returning from our last trip to Dallas, so it would be theSan Jacinto River. In mid-July, we’ll be driving to Little Rock, so we will cross it again.

Weekend trip to Reno, two weeks ago – crossed the American, Yuba and Truckee (several times) on the way there. And then the Susan on a day trip to Lassen.

Julius Caesar?
