This thread reminded me of a song I heard at least in the mid 80’s about a boxer that was on the Titanic. The chorus was something about, “This ship don’t carry coal.”
IIRC, it was a long, as in album side length, song.

Love the Leadbelly Titanic song [as well as the one we used to sing at girl scout camp. “It was sad, it was sad”, we’d sing cheerfully] - Chicago area folksinger Art Thieme used to sing that one, there’s where I first heard it.
Ya know, I used to have dial-up, and complained that I couldn’t do The You Tube. Well, we got us some high-speed last week and now shit in the tall cotton, so to speak, and can The You Tubes all I want!
