What was this 70's/80's toy called?

Does anyone remember late 70’s early 80’s- there were these little pom pom critters- they had white feet stuck on them, wiggly eyes and little antennae. You would peel the paper off of the bottom of the feet and stick 'em…well, everywhere. They would sometimes have a little banner attached to the big feet with a message on them.

Did I dream this or does anyone recall what they were called?

Oh my gosh. I was thinking about these just the other day.

Yeah, what WERE they called? They were cute.

Weepuls

Wow, weeple? I don’t remember that word but those are them alright! I knew you all would come through- thanks a bunch!

Holy cow I had a ton of those! Hadn’t thought about them in decades. I don’t think I ever knew what they were called.

I would have said they were warm fuzzies.

Ha, my school gave them to kids for selling magazines. I sold a bunch to a family friend who’s a dentist and needed some for his waiting room. I also sold them to my grandma :frowning:

Kids are dumb and businesses that exploit schools like that suck, although I’m sure the school benefits. Don’t get me started on education funding…

That’s what we called them too.

Well, I sure won’t since I didn’t ask about education funding, but thanks anyway!
