When I was a kid I remember some show about a store mannequin(nickelodeon i think) when his friend was there he(the mannequin) would be alive, but only with his friend there.
And if he took his hat off he would freeze.
This was on sometime around 1987
Anyone know what this is?

They always played stupid cartoon clips, too, like “Simple Simon.”

I haven’t thought about that show in quite a long time.
Our local PBS station aired it all the time when I was younger… I think it was actually a Canadian show (produced by TV Ontario).
I just had a strange experience. I read the description of the show and it did not sound even remotely like any kids show I could think of (a movie, yes, but not a kids’ show) but then when I read the name, the whole thing came flooding back to me! I used to love that show! Apparently, my brain had just blocked it out!
Yes I remember that show too. Speaking of old shows… Danger Mouse comes to mind

Ach, laddies! I haven’t e’en though ah that thar show in a … oh, hell. I don’t know any accents. Anyway, I used to see that show when I was unspeakably young. I remember a puppet mouse that spoke in verse and a puppet security guard that always ate some German sandwich. And there was a live person there, a woman. Her and the mannequin … ah, I’ve forgotten. There was a theme song, which I’ve forgotten or repressed. It was set in a closed department store. That’s all I can think of right now.
