Another twice-changed name here. Way back (okay not as long ago as some of you but it seems like an eternity) I was known as aryk29 but got irritated when people kept misspelling it, so I had it changed. At the time, I was living in a relatively isolated town and wishing desperately to be in a more populated area, and wanted a username that reflected that. Should have thought to use this name at that time. :smack: So if you see any old threads quoting me as cityboy916, well, just think of it as the internet equivalent of boymode.

I was Number Six up until about two weeks ago.
It was a reference to The Prisoner. If I were still Number Six, I’d now be telling people it referred to Battlestar Galactica.

I printed out a topic yesterday and saw someone reference this. See, cause I KNEW the name Number Six, but yours was a new one to me.
By the way, the printing was a double header. I like to get the Original topics that Pit threads come off of and I printed out the one where you talk about your ner job and the pit thread that came out of it.

To answer both your questions, I always have been Elenia25. My e-mail was Elenia25. When I joined here, I was Elenia25 - back in 2001. But I hardly posted and even more rarely visited because the boards were slow.
Joined last year, and changed the name to Elenia28 to reflect my age. When I joined, it said “July 2004” which was the month I paid, but not the month I joined. I wondered, but didn’t care enough to correct it.
So then I changed my name to Anaamika. I wish I had remained Elenia, though.
So now it says 2001, eh? How strange. I guess I like the new name if for nothing else than it showing how long I’ve truly been here.
Back in the AOL board days, I was WillowElf7. Someone read it wrong one day and started calling me the Big Bad Welf because they mooshed the w and e together instead of seeing willow and elf separately (I was into stupid RPG AOL chat rooms at the time; I was 15, what do you expect?).
On this board though, I’ve always been Welfy.
I was beatle here, for ~2½ years. I think the change to the current name was really the result of an idle conversation with Coldfire in LA in late 2001 where I’d speculated that if I changed my name, I could use the sig, “The former beatle.”
Which I did. For a very little while.
I’ve never really been too fond of sigs.
