What websites do you have bookmarked that you think everyone should?

I just got through loading many programs on my computer after a virus attack struck mine. I needed to clean it up anyway. After the reinstallation, I found that the one thing I miss the most were my old bookmarks. I had a lot of great sites (since then, I’ve joined a service which saves your bookmarks) such as

or

Those are a few that I loved and helped me tremendously. What do you have bookmarked that you think everyone should have?

BTW: Those are three for me. I’m glad i found them again.

It’s always handy to have IMDB a click away. Solves many stupid arguments.

SDMB of course.

Wikipedia.

NORAD or some other weather site.

Three excellent links, SweetHomeColorado!! Many thanks.

I don’t have anything that good, but for people who are interested in politics, some of the websites/blogs I’ve found recently and enjoy are:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/
http://blog.foreignpolicy.com/
http://www.economist.com/debate/freeexchange/index.cfm

I got a few of these.

Campusi- for finding cheap and rare books.
http://dict.die.net/ - for a fast dictionary.
eurekalert - for the latest science news.
FILExt - for help with unknown file extensions.
UrbanDictionary - for definitions on made up words.
Howstuffworks - to learn how everything works.
MacDesktops - for cool desktops. Works with Windows too.

I also have quick links to Wikipedia, IMDB, Google and the Straight Dope.

www.gasbuddy.com It has links for local sites. Independent gas station owners get more business by having lower prices.

Rodgers01 I’ll see that website and raise you another one

dnooman good call, that’s one I had before and forgot about. Perfect!

Does anyone have a link to a freeware text-to-speech program? I had one that I used to read me the news as I got ready in the morning.
Not one of the programs that reads everything on the screen, but one that only ready what you tell it to, such as by copied text etc.

Google and the Wikipedia would be the only ones I would say that everyone should have.

Here’s a great one:

It shows the time for about 400 worldwide locations.
The calendar section is also tremendous. It will show holidays and Moon phases for just about any year.
A website well-worth bookmarking.

I like Real Clear Politics, mentioned above, and I use these often:

I think I got this website from the Dope sometime ago, but it is still worth every syllable
