What Wii U games would you like to see?

I was just thinking the game pad would make a pretty good high tech steering wheel as used in F1.

What do you guys think?

not sure if you’ve actually held the game pad in your hand, but it has all digital buttons. the last thing i’d ever want to do is play a racing game with digital triggers.

some aftermarket companies are starting to come out with “pro” (read: xbox 360 styled) controllers with analog triggers, which is much more suitable for racing games.

How is that supposed to work? Analog trigger aren’t just a matter of changing the button. The controller would have to communicate differently, and the game would have to have a special mode to accept that communication.

Also, you are aware that the official Wii U Pro controller (which does look a lot like an Xbox controller, just with the analog stick and digital buttons swapped to be symmetrical) is made by Nintendo themselves and only has digital triggers, right?

Forgot to answer the OP: Okami.

i don’t see why the controller would have to communicate differently, the xbox 360 controller has both analog triggers and digital buttons on it.

but the main gripe retaining to digital vs analog buttons for racing games is that digital is either on or off, there’s no gradual acceleration/braking.

and yes, i do own a wii u, and i’m aware of the wii u pro controller, which is why i referred to the nyko aftermarket controller to be “pro” styled.

I’d like to see Skyward Sword ported so you don’t have to use a motion controller to play it.

The game would have to be completely redesigned, the Motion+ functionality was the absolute core of that game. Most of the bosses and enemies wouldn’t even work without it. Mere port it ain’t.

ETA: Unless you mean drawing the slashes on the touch screen rather than slashing, which could work I guess. But I really question how well.
