and yes while the Clintons are rich (but not billionaires), they do not try to show it off as Trump does. They did both also grow up middle class; Trump’s father was a double and triple digit millionaire, who made Donald.
Still, there are alternatives to Trump. Apart from the array of identically-suited numpties on the Republican aisle, and the vibrant alternatives to the hilarious ‘Old White Men are the Enemy’ article of belief ---- Hillary, Nancy & Diane Speak for Youth ! — on the more bewildered side; there’s also a new meme of Clownpiece For President.
Clownpiece is one of the latest additions to Gensokyo, a blonde fairy dressed in American flag gear who is a votary of Hecate with the enviable gift of bestowing madness.
I Believe Clownpiece Is What America Needs is the motto of her followers, as shown by clownpieceforpresident. Admittedly Clownpiece is fictional, but are you sure Trump and some of the rest above aren’t also ? Amd she’s neither old nor male, which should garner her votes from those demented with identity [ crisis ] issues.
I’m a Pennsylvanian voter who voted for Obama in the last two presidential elections.
Should I switch my registration to Democrat now in anticipation of casting a vote for Trump in the primary?
It’s not a problem if the interns can figure out how to put a bell on him.
Literally none of this will happen.
This might happen.
Where exactly are you getting these polls ?

Trump is in fact, contrary to your statement, far ahead of the rest of the GOP. Your first sentence is the opposite of reality.
I assume you will say the contrary evidence somehow means your prediction is still supported by that evidence…
Trump — Romney 2016 !
Btw, while Fox polls may be believable for GOP primaries, don’t think posting them on GE will carry any weight. Remember their 2012 Obama vs Romney scam polls?
I have to assume that you did not read carefully, Chronos was talking about the General election polls (not state ones or primaries) regarding Trump and conceivable Democratic opponents not Republican. I will have to say that they are Clinton and/or Sanders at this time.
And yes, the aggregate shows that indeed the democrats right now are ahead of Trump by more than 10 points.
Trump is unelectable.
Fox don’t love Trump that much. And all polls are unreliable. But most recent ones place Trump highly.
Those are general election polls, as indicated by the words 2016 Republican Presidential Nomination in the first.
If Chronos was unclear, he stated: **General election polls put Trump at least ten points behind every conceivable challenger, including the ones that nobody has ever heard of. **
Every challenger would be those for the GOP, whom Trump is trouncing. If Every conceivable challenger is expanded to include the Democrats, then Trump is still ahead of Biden, Webb, O’Malley and Chaffee out of the 6 Democrats listed in the poll ( some of whom may not even declare ).
Trump might probably beat Hillary, and may even beat Sanders; but he would beat Biden or O’Malley; and can beat the rest of the clown car without breaking sweat on current form.
This will all change, and once the GOP has character-assassinated him as thoroughly as Hillary or Obama, he will probably have to stand down; however the current polls do not put him ‘at least 10 points behind every conceivable challenger’
Trump — Romney 2016 !
Full stop, you really are not even wrong.
You are using a definition for “General Election” that no one is using,
https://www.google.com/search?q="General+Election"&gws_rd=ssl#q="General+Election"+definition
It is indeed the exclusive territory (in the USA) of a Republican candidate vs a Democratic one. So yeah, Chronos was correct and you are not even getting the gist correctly.
It is so cute when Tea Partiers or reactionaries think that that is supposed to be scary; once again, the polls show why Democrats would be very happy to see that in the General Election against any Democrat.
Hence why I said McGovern represented the party in a more “extreme form”-hence why none of the post-Goldwater Republican candidates until the younger Bush openly advocated for rolling back the New Deal as a Presidential candidate and even Bush II only supported Social Security privatization. While in certain aspects such as foreign policy, the Democratic Party of to-day is far from McGovernism, the core of the Democratic coalition is essentially the McGovern coalition of minorities and urban educated professionals.
Please never utter these words again. You’re putting us all in terrible danger.
Is he also unnominatable?
Bush, Kasich, and so on are not conceivable general election opponents to Trump.
Unless Trump goes third-party, which he has pointedly not promised not to do.
he’s not gonna go third party; he’s gonna probably keep atop the polls for now and try to win the nominating contests, by which more sore loser laws will probably come into place. He really thinks he can and will get the nomination. I think he probably will.
I thought Trump was his own big-money interest.
It’s impossible for Trump to win the nomination. Trump may be the first choice of 25% of Republicans (Republicans are zany critters!) but he’s the 2nd or 3rd choice of much fewer. (If the pollsters asked “which of the candidates do you like least?” I’ll guess Trump would win that poll too.). At some point, if things get desperate, Walker or Bush will drop out throwing support to the other and “save” the party.
I hope I’m wrong. I still think Sanders -vs- Trump in November would be the chance for America to come to terms with its political dysfunction in a grand catharsis.
Hey! Maybe it is possible. All Democrats should re-register as Republican and vote for Trump in the primaries! Please.
 Trump winning the general election is even more impossible(*).
(* - Yes, I’m aware that impossible is one of those adjectives that cannot a comparative marker. Sue me!)
Yes, it’s one of the most unique words in the English language.
