Had to look it up (hoping for a reaction quote) yet Trump has said it before:
On a later occasion, Trump accused Schumer of being a “proud member of Hamas” at a rally, the Washington Postreported. “Chuck Schumer refused to shake the Israeli prime minister’s hand,” Trump said. “Chuck Schumer has become a Palestinian. Can you believe it? He’s become a proud member of Hamas.” His comment occurred after Netanyahu delivered an address to Congress and Schumer nodded rather than shook his hand.
Ipso facto. Trump’s idea of a “solid burn” on Schumer.
“Legally obligated! Take it to the Hague!”
Meanwhile, Israel’s defence minister Israel Katz wrote on X on Thursday: “Countries like Spain, Ireland, Norway, and others, which have levelled accusations and false claims against Israel over its actions in Gaza, are legally obligated to allow any Gaza resident to enter their territories.”
Brilliant. What’d that have been, late 80’s? First step: relocate them far away and they’ll be some other country’s problem.
The problem is you’ll have two million people who might want Denmark-style health care which should be so good the Canadians will want it too.
I won’t shake Netanyahu’s hand or even nod at that war criminal. I am therefore a Palestinian, can you believe it? Hamas are the greatest. I hear they don’t even cheat at golf and still have semi-pro handicaps.
To spread the blame, for one. And get the US and its intransigence involved for the next few decades and he could very well just let the US do all the work of ethnically cleansing the Palestinians for him. Then after Trump’s grand project inevitably turns out to be a scam and a failure Israel can just move in and take the cleansed territory after the US leaves.
Here’s the plan for the reconstruction of Gaza, worked out by a civil engineer/urban planner in California back in July, which he then sent to the Trump campaign.
In typical engineering fashion, it focuses on concrete, not people, with an assumption that 2 million people will be moved out of the way for the construction to start, with no indication of how that socio-economic issue will be dealt with.
He says he also tried to talk to the Biden campaign, but they weren’t interested. I guess Joe and Co. let some quibbling ethics about ethnic cleansing get in the way of a magnificent engineering solution.
"…And then you have an economy which actually has three sectors: you have tourism potential, you have agriculture potential, and then you have – because a lot of them are smart – high-tech.”
So Trump was apparently unimpressed with how the latest hostages looked after being released and he has declared that the US “might lose patience” with the the ceasefire according to this Yahoo article:
A few questions here:
These folks have been held as captives in the Gaza strip for about a year and a half now. What were they supposed to look like? There’s a bit of a calorie deficit going on there right now in case you hadn’t noticed. Really hard to get those Uber Eats orders delivered when the place is all bombed to shit. And for some reason, there’s no kosher places delivering to Gaza either.
Is Trump going to unilaterally break the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas?
Assuming yes, how does he see that working? Just drop SEAL Team Six in and go? Fire some rockets, drop some bombs? Jewish space lasers? It’s only a threat if you can actually do something. Last I checked, the IDF is not the vengeful fist of Trump, no matter how much he might like to think they will be on account of him moving that embassy back in the day.
Well, Hamas could have released them at any time. Not to mention, since Hamas is hijacking aid food shipments and selling that food to their own people- Hamas has plenty of food. The average palestinian in Gaza? Not so much.
Very simple, call up his buddy Netenyahu and tell him to break the ceasefire.
In fact possibly not necessary, he could have already told him that when they met face to face
Remember this ceasefire deal was the result of a whole bunch of diplomatic pressure by the Biden admin. Now that’s gone (in fact reversed) and most of the hostages are released, I’m sure he’d be happy to restart the war.
Hell the US is now actively pressuring Arab countries to take in the survivors of the ethnic cleansing Trump and Netenyahu have planned. Of course Netenyahu will play ball, it’s his ball game:
But yet again, at least got rid of Genocide Joe, eh?
No one wants to take in displaced Palestinians for exactly the same reason that Israel wants them gone: the militants among them form a state within a state that destabilizes the host countries.
