What Will Replace Leno at 10pm (9pm Central/Mtn)?

By next Fall I’m sure they’ll have plenty enough mediocre generic cop/medical dramas in the can to fill the time. Or maybe Law & Order: Traffic Patrol or something.

Meanwhile, I like Czarcasm’s pilot idea. Long ago, didn’t networks actually air pilots before deciding whether they got picked up? Maybe during the summer? Or am I having one of my hallucinations again?

Anyhow, yeah, it’ll probably be Dateline, and 5th or 6th airings of The Office and 30 Rock.

I believe NBC has indicated that they’re looking for the short term at two nights with scripted series, two with reality or news type programming (I’d bet on another Dateline), and one with reruns of current drama series.

elfkin477 - The broadcast networks don’t typically air reality shows at 10:00 p.m., but they’re all over the cable networks - shows like Top Chef (Bravo), Project Runway (Lifetime), Hoarders (A&E), and Celebrity Rehab (VH1) all air at 10:00 p.m.

The holes in the schedule don’t necessarily have to be at 10:00. When the Leno show started, NBC moved Law & Order and SVU to earlier time slots. (Anything else?) After the Olympics, they can move them back. They’ll still have holes to fill, but it can be something for an earlier slot.

Wow, interesting. The original was great, and I’ve been watching the reruns lately. It sounds like the remake is in good hands, but it’s still going to be hard to do it justice.

Here is the answer:

Monday: “Law & Order” will spend its 20th season here beginning March 1.

Tuesday: Ron Howard’s “Parenthood” will follow “The Biggest Loser” beginning March 2.

Wednesday: “Law & Order: SVU” starting March 3 (will follow SVU repeats at 9pm).

Thursday: “The Marriage Ref,” new reality show exec-produced by Jerry Seinfeld. Starting March 4 after a February 28 sneak preview.

Friday: “Dateline” moves from 8pm to 10pm beginning March 5, and a new Lisa Kudrow reality show, “Who Do You Think You Are” will air at 8pm. “Friday Night Lights” will take over the 8pm slot on April 30.

I said it might be interpreted that way. An equally valid interpretation would be set you up as viceroy of Argentina and work with you on plans to overthrow the emperor. That’s between you and the monkeys.

fills PJ pockets with Monkey Chow

No clue about what NBC will air, but my fantasy has them stealing Craig Ferguson from CBS and bringing him over. I just think he’s funny, but he’s on way past my bedtime.

Here’s the answer:

I’d love to know more. What a cast, though legal shows aren’t usually my bag.

Apparently it’s about a lawyer who suffers from panic attacks & anxiety and has to teach his clients to represent themselves in court. I guess it wasn’t picked up for the Spring but there’s still hope it could be picked up for a full season starting in the Fall. I think they announce those shows in May.

Aw, lemon! What am I going to do with at least six full Tennantless months?

No kidding. Life without Tennat is barely worth living at all…
