Here’s my suggestion: “Pear’s son” is “Απιου-υιος”, latinized to “Apiouhuios”, and streamlined to something like “Apiouios” or “Apiohios” or “Apiuios”.
Of course, you could simply call him “Pear” : “Απιον” : “Apion”.
